NBC 8 in Tampa sought to elevate their brand position overall, along with their social media footprint in particular.
We revamped the company’s Facebook page, created a welcome page and a “Meet the Anchors” page, and ultimately grew the fan base. Sparxoo ran contests and managed a Facebook ad campaign aimed at increasing the number of likes. Over a year NBC was able to drive their fan base to 6,000. In a matter of 8 weeks, Sparxoo was able to increase that number to over 10,000. We also put together a content schedule, trained journalists on using Facebook, and integrated widgets from NBC Universal.
